I ran out of moisturizer the other day and just happened to grab a random one off the shelf. The random one I grabbed was Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel. For once my random grabbing paid off! YAY!
In case you aren’t familiar with Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel, it’s magical. 🙂 Basically, “Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream locks-in moisture and blocks-out dryness using a formula with a unique combination of pure antioxidant fruit water extracts and skin conditioning Vitamin E.” I was a little nervous when I opened the jar and say it was an actual gel, not a cream. I’ve always used moisturizers in the past that have been more of cream, so I wasn’t sure how this would work.
Don’t let looks deceive you. It works beautifully.
It helps replenish skin’s moisture reserves and fights off dryness. It’s ultra lightweight, oil free, refreshing gel-cream formula instantly penetrates for long-lasting moisture and boosts skin’s natural defenses so that it can hold moisture for 24 hours. Locks-in moisture for 24 hours. Blocks-out dryness. Oil-free. Over time, an active lifestyle and environmental factors can damage skin¿s natural protective barrier, causing it to lose moisture faster than ever. Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream is right for you if you want long-lasting hydration. Healthy looking skin starts with proper cleansing. After cleansing with Moisture Rescue Fresh Cleansing Foam, use Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream over face twice daily. Can also be used with Moisture Rescue Lightweight UV-Lotion SPF 15 to help protect skin against UV damage. Instantly: skin looks and feels supple, smooth. Stays hydrated for 24 hours. In 1 hour: skin’s moisture barrier is strengthened to prevent dryness. With Regular Use: continuously moisturized, skin is strengthened and looks healthier.
Within an hour of using Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel my skin felt refreshed. I was shocked. I was slightly worried, that with it being a gel, it would feel sticky, but it doesn’t. It also doesn’t leave my skin greasy, which is a major selling point. It just works. And I’m grateful.
The scent is very light. Barely anything noticeable at all. Again, another major plus in my book!
And for $7.99, I would totally buy it again and again and again.
Have you tried any Garnier products? What are your favorites? And what are some good moisturizers that you’ve found! I’d love to hear your suggestions!
