Beauty Reviewed: Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment

Lately I’ve been battling with a dry, itchy scalp. I’ve tried various fixes, such as changing shampoos, styling products etc. The only thing I’ve noticed that has helped immensely is Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair And Scalp Treatment. Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment is designed to “soothe, strengthen, Moisturize and Protect – Soy proteins, panthenol, vitamin E and shea butter help recondition, repair and protect the hair Refines Skin Texture – Salicylic acid, derived from willow bark, refines and improves the texture of the skin Invigorates – The unique combination of tea tree oil, peppermint, and lavender creates a refreshing fragrance experience”

It’s tingly when it first goes on, which I always tell myself means it’s working. :) It has little blue beads that exfoliate the scalp. Just a heads up, make sure you rinse your hair really well, or you will find little beads still.

The smell is divine. It’s a soft peppermint scent. I’ve gotten lots of compliments throughout the day on how great my hair smells when I use it.

With the flakiness and dryness I tried dandruff specific shampoos prior to this one. None of those provided me with the same results. They really dried my hair out and made it incredibly unmanageable. However, after using Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment, my hair feels soft and my scalp is hydrated.

I use it once a week and let it sit on my hair for five minutes. I couldn’t recommend it more. My hair and scalp are grateful.

Have you tried any Tea Tree products? What are your favorites?
