Beauty Reviewed + Giveaway: Krill Oil

krill oilA couple months ago I talked about Evening Primrose Oil and how it helps with inflammation. Well, luckily for me, I’ve also discovered Krill Oil. Similar to Evening Primrose Oil, Krill Oil provides relief from inflammation and pain. However, Krill Oil provides pain relief plus more! Krill Oil “is extracted from Krill living deep within the waters surrounding the Antarctic. Krill are very small, shrimp like crustaceans found in open seas throughout the world. Research from the scientific and medical communities confirms the incredible effects this oil can have in promoting heart and joint health, lowered cholesterol, improved moods and comfort during menstruation.”

The benefits of Krill Oil are:

Clinical data has shown Krill Oil seems to possess numerous benefits and has the ability to: protect your heart, lower your cholesterol, fight PMS symptoms, combat inflammation, optimize your brain’s capabilities, fight aging AND boost your overall health and well being!

I suffer from arthritis, so I was especially eager to try Krill Oil for the inflammation factor. I’ve always been a little leery of fish oil, because I’ve heard that you get fish burps and to me, that just sounds gross. Thankfully, I didn’t get anything like that with these pills.

The Krill Oil definitely helped with the inflammation. I’ve noticed a huge difference after about two weeks. My swelling has gone down and I’m not wincing in pain. Love. The pills are small so it makes them easy to swallow. I hate taking pills so I’d tell you if they were a bear.

I included it as a beauty review as well, because Krill Oil states that it helps with wrinkles. That’s like saying you’ve discovered the holy grail. A wrinkle reducer- I’m in!  It also aides with PMS symptoms. Lord knows I need all the help I can get during that time, so I’m happy for any relief. :)

A bottle of Krill Oil costs $29.95 and you are recommended to take 2 a day. That’s a lot easier than 6 a day like I was taking with the Evening Primrose Oil! It’s also safe for kids, but I can’t attest to that, as I don’t have any kids that I gave it to. They offer a 90 day money back guarantee, as well! That’s huge because I feel that is more than enough time to see if Krill Oil is really right for you.

* I was provided with a bottle of Krill Oil, but all opinions are my own!
