Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer

Maybe 8 weeks or so ago I was wandering around Target when I found Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer. I had to pick it up because I was immediately intrigued by the idea of spray lotion.

I went to try it out the next morning and immediately regretted that decision. It was way too cold on an early February morning to spray myself with lotion. Brrr.

I put the lotion away for a few weeks and finally started using it again about two weeks ago.

If I’m being perfectly honest with you, which I am, I don’t really understand Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer. For some reason when I picked up this product I assumed that you could spray it on and go, and it would make the whole process of applying lotion that much quicker. This is not the case. Once you spray the lotion on you have to take the time to rub it in, so you don’t actually save any time.

As for the lotion itself, it has a great scent and it does a great job of moisturizing. You don’t need to spray too much, although you do need to make sure you spray around your entire arm or leg or whatnot. Unlike a traditional lotion, the product doesn’t really “spread” once it’s on your body. You pretty much need to spray everywhere you would like to have moisturized.

I guess I just find this product a little confusing because it doesn’t really improve upon traditional lotions, it’s really cold to use in the heart of winter, and it doesn’t save any time.

Would I purchase it again? No, probably not. It isn’t a bad lotion by any means but I think if given the choice I would probably choose a traditional lotion to Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer.

Do Tell: Have you tried Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer? What do you think about it?

I was interested in trying it until reading this! The idea of a spray & go was super appealing. I thought of it like the spray on sunscreens that don’t need to be rubbed in. If it isn’t a time saver I will stick with my regular, favourite lotion.

I like it. I think it is a little bid faster than regular lotion and smells good.
