Glossybox April 2013 Review

Glossybox April 2013

I’m a little behind on getting this review of the April Glossybox out. Whoops! I figure it’s better late than never though, right? :)

The April Glossybox was filled with all sorts of fun items, including 2 full size products. As I’ve said the past couple of months, Glossybox has really hit their stride as of late. I’m enjoying the boxes quite a bit because they are packed with mostly useful beauty products that I can’t wait to try.

Here’s what I received in the April Glossybox:

TIGI Cosmetics Glow Blush

TIGI Cosmetics Glow Blush – I’m really excited to use this bush! It’s a great color that’s going to look wonderful this spring and summer when I’m going for more of a sun-kissed look. (It’s not a bronzer, but the shade is such that I think it’s going to look beautiful with bronzer.) This product sells for $22.

Bvlgari Eau Parfumee au the Blanc Tea Bag for Bath

Bvlgari Tea Bag for Bath – this product is for creating a “relaxing and calming” bath ritual.

Alterna Haircare Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist

Alterna Haircare Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist – With this product you can create “fresh from the beach” waves.

Le Metier de Beaute Replenishing Daily Solution

Le Metier de Beaute Replenishing Daily Solution – This is just a tiny sample that came with a $75 gift card to Le Metier de Beaute. However, the gift card can only be applied to a skin cream that costs $225. I’m probably not going to take advantage of this. That’s a lot of $$$ for face cream, even with the coupon!

Wash with Joe Invigorating Body Wash

Wash with Joe Invigorating Body Wash – The scent of this body wash is “Coffeemint,” but it smells decidedly more minty than it does coffee-y. Still, I love trying out new body washes!

The Honest Company Organic Lip Balm

The Honest Company Organic Lip Balm – I feel like I have really lucked out over the past month with not 1 but 2 full size products from The Honest Company! I love that through subscription boxes I have been able to try this brand without having to pay for a full subscription to The Honest Company. (Even though, yes, I’m paying for subscriptions elsewhere. :) )

Overall, this was a great box! I’m most excited about the blush, body wash, and lip balm.

A subscription to Glossybox costs $21 per month, so it’s definitely one of the pricier beauty sample boxes. Glossybox has been sending more and more full-sized products however, which more than make up for the cost of the box. This box was paid for by the inclusion of the TIGI Blush alone.
