Lipstick isn’t a part of my daily makeup routine. I mean, I love it and buy it, I just forget to wear it. I have this aversion to wearing it to work for fear that I’ll look too made up. All that has changed, however, when I discovered Clinique Different Lipstick Tenderheart.

As you can see, it’s a fairly neutral color, which is why I decided to give it a try for work!

Clinique Lipstick

Wow, I have wrinkly hands. Ugh.

But I digress..

As you may be able to tell from the picture, it’s a pinky brown. That doesn’t sound too appealing, I apologize. I will tell you though, that, although the color in the tube may scare you, on, it’s a completely different story.

I thought it may be a little dark, because, like I said, it’s dark in the tube, but I was pleasantly surprised at a few things. One, it’s pretty opaque. And two, it’s very moisturizing.

It also glides on really smooth, which is a huge plus! However, the staying power isn’t too swell, but I expected that due to how opaque it is.

All in all, I have a whole new appreciation for a daytime lipstick!

What do you think of Clinique Different Lipstick Tenderheart? Do you think it’s too dark or neutral? Or, is it just the neutral you’ve been searching for?

I’ve been using the color Tenderheart from Clinique for years. It’s my absolute favorite neutral lipstick! It goes with almost every outfit.

To me it seems just a bit TOO neutral, although that could be because my skin is fairly dark!
