Isabel Marant for H&M

I woke up this morning and Twitter was abuzz with news that H&M had announced it’s latest collaboration is with none other than French designer Isabel Marant! I’ve noticed that as I’ve been doing more “Steal this Look” posts that celebrities are quite often wearing something or other by Isabel Marant. (In fact, Hilary Duff is wearing Isabel Marant boots in today’s post!) This is a pretty big “get” as far as designer collabs go at the moment.

Here are details from the press release:
For H&M, Isabel Marant will create a wardrobe of must-have pieces inspired by her signature style. Available from November 14, 2013, in around 250 stores worldwide and online, the collection features clothing and accessories for women and teenagers. Isabel will also, for the first time, create a collection for men.

While I’m quite excited to check out what Isabel Marant has to offer, notice that the release says the collection will be available ONLINE. While rumors about an H&M Online Store have been swirling for years, they’ve now given themselves an official deadline of mid-November to get something up and running. This is great news for all of you that live nowhere near this fab store because you, too, will be able to get in on the Isabel Marant fun without waiting for items to hit eBay.

A little about Isabel Marant:
Born and raised in Paris, Isabel Marant started customising her own clothes while still at high school. A graduate of the famed Studio Berçot, Marant worked her way up the fashion system starting with a jewellery line, then adding knitwear, finally launching her eponymous collection in 1994. Today she runs an internationally successful fashion powerhouse with a string of boutiques worldwide. Her Parisian chic style, a mix of bohemia and masculine tailoring, grows in popularity season after season.
