Citrus Lane Review - February 2013

In my effort to review as many new subscription boxes as possible this year I picked up a one-month subscription to Citrus Lane. Citrus Lane is a subscription box for moms and babies. When you register for the site you let them know if you have a boy or a girl, as well as the age of your child, and then the box you receive will be tailored to your child. I believe that when I registered for the site I said I had a gender-neutral infant. (Yes, gender-neutral is an option… I guess for those who don’t want to receive a bevy of either pink or blue items.)

Citrus Lane costs $25 per month, although you receive a discount when you subscribe for six months or more.

Here’s what I received in my Citrus Lane box:

DSC_0069

Mini Rainmaker from Palo de Lluvia ($12.49 at Amazon) – I LOVE this and plan on holding onti it on the off chance I ever have children. I love the sound of rainmakers, and this one is pretty great! (In the video I had to force myself to put it down. I am easily amused.)

Palo de Lluvia Mini Rainmaker

Spring is Here by Taro Gomi ($6.49 at Amazon) – This is a cute children’s book!

Pangea organics lip balm

Pangea organics Lip Balm ($12 at Pangea Organics) – I love that they threw in a little gift for mom!

Kushies Wash Cloths

Kushies Wash Cloths ($6.49 at Amazon) – In the video below I mention thinking these were gender neutral, but according to Amazon this is the boy set.

Branam All natural Tooth Gel

Branam Xylitol Tooth Gel for Babies ($6.49 at Amazon)

According to my calculations, this box has a value of approximately $44! (Of course, I used Amazon’s prices which tend to be lower than most other stores.) My knowledge of children’s items only goes so far, but I’d say this is a pretty good box and I liked that there was a range of items included. As I’ve mentioned before, this is a box I have sent out to friends of mine when they were new moms. Having finally seen one of these boxes, I really think this makes a great gift option and I plan to keep gifting my friends with Citrus Lane subscriptions.

  1. Awesome!! 🙂 I checked that I would like to subscribe, so will you add my email to the list? I also tried to do it though the link above, but I’m not getting the confirmation email for some reason. Thanks!
