I had to do a double-take when I first came across Aubrey E Apothecary. Her handmade soaps look so real that I had to read the description to see that they were soaps! Hence, I become utterly obsessed!
Ummmm, don’t you want to gobble these up!? These Raspberry Lemon French Macaron Soaps are the perfect way to indulge your sense of sweetness, but without the calories. For $7.25 you get one yellow and one pink. If only real macarons came with them. It’s probably for the best. 🙂
Can up tell I’m hungry!? Look at this chocolate cupcake soap! Nom.
I could totally start my day with a chocolate cupcake! According to the description, “it smells like rich, velvety chocolate.” Yep, this definitely sounds like soap I need in my life!
I’m kind of a lip balmaholic. I need to try this Unicorn Lip Balm stat!
If you’re not sure what “unicorn” lip balm smells and/or tastes like, well, prepare to be amazed. This lip balm is a combination of pink bubble gum and whipped cream.
Aubrey was kind enough to answer some questions. Enjoy!
1. What was the first soap you ever made?
I made a layered bar soap to look like candy corn! I’m a holiday nut and any excuse to create something for Halloween, Christmas or Valentine’s Day gets me excited and inspired.
2. Which is your favorite soap in your shop?
This is like trying to pick a favorite kid. =) My favorite during the holidays is the eggnog teacup soap, because I just go bananas for the scent and think it’s really cute and cozy.
3. Do you enjoy making soaps or lip products more?
It really depends on the day! Lately I’ve been making a lot of lip products to restock and I find it very relaxing. Soap is more high energy and go go go! I’m a little tired out from the holiday, so I’m enjoying the lip process right now.
Thanks Aubrey! I can’t recommend Aubrey E Apothecary enough!
