You didn’t think I’d let a week pass without sharing another subscription box service, did you? I might have a subscription box addiction.

In the video above I open the box I just received from a food-centric site, Foodzie.

Foodzie: The Brooklyn Box

Foodzie is similar to most of the other subscription boxes we’ve been talking about except that instead of beauty products, Foodzie offers food products. This month I received The Brooklyn Box, which was filled with items from the Brooklyn food scene.

I’m generally pretty stoic, but I get pretty excited in the video. I received some INCREDIBLE items.

Here’s what they sent me:

  • Organic Dried Mangoes from Peeled Snacks {the only item in the box I had previously tried}
  • Beer Truffles from Nunu Chocolates {I may have already consumed 3 of the 4 truffles I received}
  • “The King” Bar from Liddabit Sweets {You need to hear this description: “Soft peanut butter nougat, banana ganache and brown sugar butter cookie all get enrobed in milk chocolate.”}
  • Bacon Fat Old Bay Peanuts from Ovenly {the number one item I can’t wait to try}
  • Red Onion Rosemary Crackers from Z Crackers
  • Farmhand’s Choice Granola from Early Bird Granola

A subscription to Foodzie costs $29.95 per month. The crackers and the granola were both full-size products, and I believe the peanuts may have been as well. This was a huge and heavy box to open and so much fun! It’s definitely a little pricey to pay $29.95 per month for some mystery food items, but I am SO happy with what I received! As I state in the video, I wasn’t planning on keeping my Foodzie subscription, but they’ve made a believer out of me and I may try them out for another month to see if my next box is equal to this one.

I love all of the beauty boxes I’ve received, but food samples just might be where it’s at.
