Beauty Box 5 - October 2015

Last but not least this month, I wanted to share what I received in the October Beauty Box 5. This was a GREAT month for them, as four out of the five products were full-size items! I love when that happens!

Here’s what I received in my October Beauty Box 5:

HappyFace Makeup Cleansing Cloth

HappyFace Makeup Cleansing Cloth ($3.99) – full size product! – I was really excited to receive this makeup removing cloth because I’ve been seeing them (or something similar) pop up on various blogs. The idea behind them is that you only need the cloth and some water to remove all of your makeup. I’m eager to give this a try to see how it differs from other products and whether it actually works any better than typical makeup removing products.

Perfect Pout Long Lasting Balm Stick

Styli-Style Perfect Pout Long Lasting Balm Stick ($4.99) – full size product! – While the color of this stick appears to be bright, I put it on and it didn’t seem overly so, likely because this is a balm and not a gloss or lipstick. This will probably become my new purse balm. Aka the balm that stays in my purse for all time. I’m not familiar with Styli-Style and I’m always happy to encounter a new-to-me brand.

Ferro Cosmetics Pink Rhinestone Kabuki Brush

Ferro Cosmetics Pink Rhinestone Kabuki Brush ($25) – full size product! – Sometimes I’m amazed by just how much cosmetics can cost. $25 for a little brush?! This is the reason I’m glad subscription boxes exist. Beauty Box 5 costs $12 per month, which I think is reasonable, and thanks to them I now have a $25 brush! I’d never pay $25 for this myself, so I think that’s a pretty fair trade-off. This stylish brush can be used to apply blushes, bronzers, and other powders.

Nubar Nail Polish Mini

Nubar Nail Polish Mini – This is the one product that’s not full-size in the October Beauty Box 5, but I still think it’s pretty awesome. I never use up an entire bottle of nail polish, so that means this pretty much is a full-size product to me! This shade of pink, Pinktober, was designed as a collaboration with Beauty Box 5 and Nubar.

Knotty Hair Ties

Knotty Hair Ties ($4) – full size product! – I know these hair ties have been around forever and they’re no big deal but I LOVE when I receive them in a subscription box! I (and the rest of the world, or so it seems) think these hair ties are the bomb but I refuse to pay for them. I guess I’m spoiled because I’ve received so many for free that even though I may need some more, I just wait until I get more for free. The timing was perfect for the arrival of these cute pink hair ties!

Overall: Beauty Box 5 costs $12 per month, but this box had a total retail value of $42.97! That’s a great investment, especially considering these are all products I will be putting to good use!

Beauty Box 5 is a monthly beauty subscription box. It costs $12 per month and each month they send an assortment of 5 deluxe beauty products. They typically include at least one or more full-size products.
