I skipped receiving my October box from Julep and really missed not receiving a couple of new nail polish colors, so I was REALLY excited for my November Julep Maven box to arrive!

Julep is a nail polish subscription box, and generally you will receive 2-3 new nail polish colors each month, as well as a surprise or two. Over the past few months Julep has been launching into more of an overall beauty brand, so nearly every month now they send out a beauty product in addition to the nail polish.

Here’s what I received in my November box:

Julep Nail Polish

Two colors this month! The bottom color is Cynthia, which is a “Desert Sand Micro Glitter.” I haven’t tried this polish yet, but it looks like a nude glittery polish. The red color is Sheila, which is described as “Cherry pie red crème.” I love red nails, so yesterday I treated myself to a manicure and had them apply Sheila.

Julep Sheila

This is a really pretty red nail polish and one that I’m pretty sure I’ll be using again and again. I don’t paint my nails that often, but when I do it’s always something glittery or red. Around the holidays I usually stick with red.

Julep Lip Gloss

In addition to the nail polish I received a tube of Julep Lip Gloss, which is sold out on the website but will normally sell for $22 ($17.50 for Julep Maven members). The color I received is “glowing,” which is allegedly a light pink but I don’t think it really has much color at all. It does have great shine though and it isn’t sticky, which means this is probably going to become my go-to lip gloss!

Julep Luxe Repair Skin Serum

Finally, I received a mini sample of Julep Luxe Repair Skin Serum.

All told, I think this was a pretty great box. I haven’t been the hugest fan of Julep’s beauty line but i really do like this lip gloss, and of course I’ll get plenty of use out of the nail polish!

A Julep subscription costs $19.99 per month, but you can still try your first month of Julep for FREE! Register for an account (and take a fun little quiz), and enter code “FREEBOX” at checkout to get your first box for free. You will need to pay shipping on this box, which I believe is just $3.99. The nail polish colors you receive each month are based on your own personal preferences, and each month you have the option of switching to a different box or skipping it altogether if you don’t like the options.
