Luxor Box is one of the more recent subscription boxes geared toward women’s lifestyles, as it launched earlier this year. I have wanted to try out Luxor Box since it launched, but at $125 every other month there is no denying that this box is pretty pricey! I was given the opportunity to see the September Luxor Box and now I’m not kidding when I say that I’m considering treating myself to the occasional box.
The September Luxor Box is filled with treat after treat that makes it so fun to open! Interested n finding out what’s inside? Check out my Luxor Box review:
Meredith Hahn Tatum Cuff ($268)
I generally groan whenever a subscription box includes a bracelet because I apparently have massive wrists and the bracelets NEVER fit me. This cute cuff bracelet, however, actually does and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I love the simple styling of this cuff because it will go with absolutely everything, which fits my style perfectly. This might sound weird, but I also really like the jewelry case.
Balsam + Feather Candle ($25)
I’ve never been much for candles, but recently I find myself gravitating toward fancy soy candles so this particular candle from Greenmarket Purveying Co. is perfect. Inspired by “great tress and the wondrous outdoors,” this candle smells vaguely sweet. I’m probably going to be burning this all winter long.
Henné Luxury Organic Lip Balm ($22)
This is a USDA-certified organic lip balm that can also be used on ANY dry skin in a pinch! I’m not familiar with Henné but all of their products are handcrafted in Nevada and in addition to being organic the products are cruelty free.
Dartington Little Gems Vase ($30)
I dream of one day having a house that’s filled with small vases that have individual flowers inside each of them. I’ve been working on building a vase collection to accomplish said dream, and I’m happy to have this adorable handmade purple vase to add to my collection.
Pura Botanica Freshly Minted Body Combo Set ($25)
Pura Botanica is a luxury brand that creates cruelty-free bath-and-body products. I’m not familiar with the brand, but I cannot wait to put this lotion and cleanser to use! I’m especially excited about the peppermint-infused body cleanser that also includes aloe and shea butter. Doesn’t that sound lovely?
eInvite.com Fleur-de-lis Idea Catcher ($19.95)
If you prefer something a little more stylish than carrying around an ordinary notebook in your purse, look no further than this “idea catcher.” The black case is filled with cream colored cards that are perfect for jotting things down in a pinch. In addition to the cards that came inside the case, the Luxor Box also included a very generous package of refill cards (shown above, left).
Each item included in the Luxor Box came with a very detailed card that provided additional information about the brand, product details, and a coupon to be used at the store. These cards were incredibly useful, and were generally nicer than the product cards that are usually sent with other boxes!
Overall: I really loved the September Luxor Box! Here’s something I almost never say – I love EVERY item that was included in the box and can’t wait to start putting the items to use. My absolute favorite item is the bracelet, which is followed closely by the vase and the candle. There’s not a bad item here though and as I was opening this box I again felt like it was my birthday, which is what I consider the highest honor when it comes to these subscription boxes!
The total retail value of this box is $364.95, which is fantastic for a box that costs $125.
Luxor Box ships every other month, to the United States and Canada. It costs $125 per box in the U.S. and $155 in Canada. In addition to the full-size box, Luxor Box now offers Luxor Box “Petite,” which costs just $39.95 per both and includes only 3-4 full-size products.
