Way back when I reviewed Chococurb, which is pretty much my dream subscription box because they deliver a box of artisan chocolate to your door each month. The full-size box costs $35 if you subscribe month-to-month, which may put it out of price range for some. Luckily, if you want to have your monthly chocolate fix you are in luck because the Chococurb Mini Box is now available! For $20 you can receive three artisan chocolate bars delivered to your door, which is a pretty good deal! (The cost goes down to $18 per month if you pre-pay for a six-month subscription.)
If you’re looking for a Mother’s Day Gift to go alongside the unique wine gifts we just featured, a Chococurb Mini Box would be perfect!
The box that the chocolate comes in is pretty to look at and wrapped very securely. The last thing you want is to receive a bunch of broken chocolate bars in the mail.
If you’re worried that the word “mini” thinks you’re not going to get quality chocolate, think again.
I received a Ginger + Panela Bar from Antidote Chocolate ($6.95), Amedei Toscano Blond Bar featuring dried peaches and apricots ($8.20) and a white chocolate bar from jcoco (I couldn’t find pricing on this one). The only bar I wasn’t thrilled with was the jcoco but that’s only because I don’t eat white chocolate. Luckily, chocolate isn’t too hard to give away around these parts. 😉
I could easily go out and purchase chocolate bars on my own, but one of the reasons I love Chococurb is because they make it so easy to try new chocolate. I can’t tell you how much I loved that Amedei Toscano bar, and I probably wouldn’t have had an opportunity to try it if not for this box.
Subscription boxes make great gifts because it’s not something you have to wrap or worry about being on time. Just let the recipient know to expect something special in the mail and they’ll be beyond thrilled when the chocolate starts arriving on their doorstep each month!
Disclosure: I was provided with a Chococurb Mini Box for the purpose of this review, however all opinions expressed above are my own.
