My Ireland Box - May 2013

I reviewed My Ireland Box last month and it was one of my favorite subscription boxes I’ve received to date. The items, all created by Irish artisans, were fantastic and items that I’ve really enjoyed using and owning. I was lucky enough to receive another My Ireland Box this month and this box might just contain one of my favorite items from any of the many subscription boxes I’ve received!

A subscription to My Ireland Box costs 30 Euro per month + 5 Euro shipping, which comes out to about $46 U.S. This isn’t the cheapest box on the market, but I think the quality of the items more than makes up for the price. This box is a fantastic treat for yourself or for a loved one. I really don’t know too many women who wouldn’t enjoy these treats!

Here’s what I received in the May My Ireland Box:

Bia Beauty Facial Exfoliant and Cleanser

Bia Beauty Orange & Grapefruit Facial Exfoliant & Cleanser – This product smells absolutely heavenly. It’s very citrusy without being overpowering. This is an exfoliant and cleanser in one, which means you only need this one product to do both jobs. I’m a huge fan of multi-tasking!

Jennifer Slattery Printed Tea Cloth

Jennifer Slattery Afternoon Tea Tray Cloth – This tea tray cloth reminded me instantly of when I studied abroad in Ireland and we had both a morning and afternoon tea break. The design is inspired by “the trinkets, ornaments and objects that spark memories of generations gone.”

Bláithin Ennis Earrings from Ireland

Bláithin Ennis Earrings – These earrings just might be my favorite product I’ve received in any subscription box. It’s hard to capture how gorgeous they are in photo, but the topaz inside the mesh catches the light and looks absolutely brilliant. These earrings are seriously chic and sexy and I’m so happy they’re mine! (I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of earrings to wear to a wedding I’m attending in a few weeks and these are it.)

Like last month, I am so happy with My Ireland Box and cannot more highly recommend it, whether you’re looking for a little treat for yourself or a loved one.

  1. Hi Lisa
We are so delighted that you like the contents of this month’s box. We too love the smell and feel of Bia Beauty’s exfoliant and cleanser – it’s 100% natural too! Blaithin Ennis is such a talented jewellery designer and Jennifer Slattery’s designs are adorable. We are so happy that we could share their talents with you all.
We are offering boxes as one off purchases too so if you can’t subscribe just yet, then surprise yourself once!
Thanks again Lisa – we love your blog!

  2. Chia seeds in your every day meal – just add a pinch of seeds over your salad or meal and eat it:)
Or you can make some creams, smoothies, etc.
That means in short: I trust butter and cold pressed oils.
They mix in baking soda for a toothpaste or use it as a deodorant.
