Glossybox January 2014

I don’t normally take a photo of everything that comes in the various boxes I receive, but I had to show you all how packed the Glossybox was this month! There were so many items to go through this month, and all of them were generously sized!

Here’s what I received in my January Glossybox:

Toni&Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray

Toni&Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray – Normally I love my natural curls, but whenever I receive a product like this I wish they my hair was straighter so that I could use it. Alas, sea salt texturising spray does nothing for my hair, but this is still a generous sample that I’m sure I’ll have no problem pawning off on a friend!

The Original Beautyblender

The Original Beautyblender – I believe the Beautyblender is full size, though the blendercleanser is a sample. Dory once wrote a Beautyblender review, which helps flawlessly apply foundation and other makeup. I’ve received a few Beautyblenders in various subscription boxes over the years, but I’m a little embarrassed to admit I’ve never tried one yet!

Balance Me Super Toning Body Wash

Balance Me Super Toning Body Wash – I’ve never heard of the Balance Me brand, but I’m always happy to try new body washes! According to the description, this body wash contains a “spa-inspired” aromatic blend of juniper, bergamot, geranium and lavender.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream – This is a very generously sized sample. (At least for me because it takes me awhile to go through face creams.) This one is paraben-free and allegedly lasts for 48 hours!

Bellapierre Cosmetics Mineral Blush

Bell√°pierre Cosmetics Mineral Blush ($20) – This is a full size product! The color is really great and I’ll be putting this to good use. (Sorry for the weird photo – it’s hard to take a photo of blush like this!)

Overall, this was a great box, despite the fact that I have no use for the sea salt texturising spray. Glossybox costs $21 per month, and pretty much the blush alone covered the cost of the box! I’m most excited to try out the Vichy cream. I’ve tried samples of this brand before and really liked it.

Glossybox is a beauty subscription box. Each month they send out at least five deluxe beauty samples, though most months they send at least one full-size product.

  1. I’ve always wanted to try a BeautyBlender, but just can’t bring myself to spend money on something I don’t know if I’ll like!
