It’s one of my favorite times of the month again – time to go through the PopSugar Must Have Box! This monthly subscription box is usually one of my favorites because it usually comes packed with new/fun items for women and this month is no exception!

Here’s what I received in my January PopSugar Must Have Box:

Jack + Lucy Tech Gloves

Jack + Lucy Tech Gloves – For whatever reason I cannot find Jack + Lucy online, or find anyone selling these tech gloves, so I have no idea what the value may be. (I did spot plenty of people selling re-selling these gloves on eBay for about $15 though.) Despite not knowing anything about the company, I’ve worn these gloves a couple of times and they’re super warm! Last night I tried using them with my iPhone and while I know smart gloves have existed for awhile I was amazed at how well they worked!

The Juice Generation Book

The Juice Generation Book ($15.93 at Amazon) – I think this book is one of those things people are going to either love or have no interest in. I have been meaning to pick up a juicing book ever since I got my Nutribullet so I could learn how to expand my repertoire of smoothies/juices. (Check out my Nutribullet review – I still love it!) However, prior to picking up the Nutribullet I really wouldn’t have had a use for it. The photography in this book is stunning and it provides so much more information than just recipes. It goes through the nutrients in fruit, the best way to cut the fruit, and so much more!

Pipsnacks White Truffle Pipcorn

Pipsnacks White Truffle Pipcorn ($6) – Oprah has recommended Pipsnacks Pipcorn a couple of times, which means I’ve tried it before I received this package. Popcorn has been included in the Must Have Box a couple of times in the past and usually it’s not one of my favorite things, but Pipcorn is different. It is “mini” popcorn that is hull-less, which means it won’t get stuck in your teeth. Win!

Revlon by Marchesa Files

Revlon by Marchesa Box o Files ($3.49 at Target) – I didn’t even know these pretty little files existed, but I’m so happy to have them now! They’re going right in my purse.

Malin + Goetz Detox Face Mask

Malin + Goetz Detox Face Mask ($40) – While I love Malin + Goetz products, they are too $$$$ for me to purchase for myself. I can’t wait to try out this face mask which alleges to “gently cleanse pores while sealing in hydration and brightening your complexion.”

Rifle Paper Co. Desk Calendar

Rifle Paper Co. 2014 Desk Calendar ($16) – Obviously receiving anything from Rifle Paper Co. makes my day. I’m in love with their whimsical designs and there’s nothing I love more than travel, so this calendar was perfect for me.

All told, the January PopSugar Must Have Box did exactly what I hoped it would: made it feel like it was my birthday! That said, the approximate retail value of the box is about $96, which is a little on the low side for them. (I guesstimated the price of the gloves at $15.) A couple of months ago, right after PopSugar raised the price of this box to $39.95, I thought the box was pretty bad and a large part of that was due to the low value of the box. (Generally these boxes have a retail value of about $120-$150.) I’m not at all disappointed with this box, but I can see where others might be if you didn’t need a calendar, don’t care about juicing, or don’t need another pair of gloves.
