June PopSugar Must Have Box

As y’all know, I cancelled my subscription to the PopSugar Must Have Box a few months ago. After the price increase I found myself growing frustrated with the lackluster and repeat products they were sending each month.

I don’t take that back, but a funny thing happened.

I found myself missing the box! Even though I wasn’t that impressed with all of the boxes, it turns out that I missed receiving the box that was comparable to receiving a really awesome birthday gift each month.

So, here I am again, having resurrected my PopSugar Must Have subscription.

Thankfully, luckily, awesomely… the June box is wonderful!

Here’s what I received in the June PopSugar Must Have Box:

The One and Only by Emily Giffin

The One & Only by Emily Giffin ($28) – So this is really the only item that came in the box that I wasn’t excited about. I actually would have been excited except that I pre-ordered the book, so I don’t really need a second copy! (Something tells me it shouldn’t be too hard to find a friend to pawn this off on though.) That said, PopSugar has always done a great job including books in their boxes and this is no different. Also, I guess PopSugar and I are on the same wavelength since I included this book in my 2014 Summer Reading List!

You Smell Lemon Wet Wipes

You Smell Lemon Wet Wipes ($5) – These may be the prettiest wet wipes EVER, and they’re perfect for throwing into your bag to have on hand for emergencies. Selfishly, I wish I had known about these when I got married two summers ago. We handed out wet wipes to our guests after dinner and these would have been so much prettier and totally fitting with the not-too-serious vibe we had going!

turkish-t-beach-towel

Turkish-T Beach Towel ($45) – This towel is so pretty and so soft! It’s obviously perfect for summer! I don’t spend a ton of time at the beach, so what makes this towel extra special (and makes me doubly excited) is that it doubles as a wrap. This is an item I never would have purchased for myself but now that I have it I am so happy!

Sachajuan Shiny Citrus Body Lotion

Sachajuan Shiny Citrus Body Lotion ($24) – I don’t generally purchase expensive body lotions so this is a real treat. This lotion isn’t very heavy and it feels super silky once it’s applied. The fresh lightly citrus scent is amazing… so amazing that I keep smelling my own arm. I hope that’s not too weird.

One Potato Two Potato Chips

One Potato Two Potato Chips ($2) – I don’t actually like potato chips, but I figure these won’t be too hard to pawn off on someone! I really appreciated that these were packaged separately in cardboard to ensure that they didn’t get smashed in the box.

Lollies Basics Hair Ties

Lollies Basics Hair Ties ($8) – How cute are these? They almost look like bracelets, or at the very least an upgrade to the old twistbands that have been popular for so long. Interestingly, these hair ties are made out of bathing suit material.

Native Union Gift Card

Native Union $15 Gift Card – There’s nothing on the Native Union website for $15 or less, so this is really just a coupon. Normally I don’t include coupons, but this one was packaged so nicely that I couldn’t resist.

Overall: The total retail value of the June PopSugar Must Have Box is $112, not including the cost of the gift card. Considering the PopSugar Must Have Box costs $39.95, that’s pretty darn good. More importantly than the value of the box though is that this box just contained some really awesome products, most of which I likely wouldn’t have found otherwise. My favorite item was definitely the towel, and that’s followed closely by the lotion and wet wipes.

The PopSugar Must Have Box is a subscription box for women that costs $39.95 per month. The box comes packed with an assortment of full-size items that have been hand-picked by the PopSugar editors. While I took a break for a few months I missed this box dearly and highly recommend it (most of the time).
