I just posted a photo on Instagram that shows all of the subscription boxes I need to review this month and – gah! – I better get working. Sometimes they add up quickly! The Spring FabFitFun VIP Box arrived TODAY and immediately skyrocketed to the top of the list. (Obviously.)

The FabFitFun VIP Box is a women’s lifestyle subscription box that’s very similar to the PopSugar Must Have Box except that it’s only released on a quarterly basis. For $49.99 you’ll receive a box filled with beauty, fitness, fashion, and wellness finds. The ultimate value of the box may vary from season to season, but I think we can all agree that the value of the spring FabFitFun VIP Box is worth way more than the $49.99 price tag! (Want to grab this box? For less? There’s a coupon at the end of the post!)

Here’s what I received in the spring FabFitFun VIP Box:

Cult Gaia Turband

Cult Gaia Turband ($48) – This turband is so fun! There’s a light wire in it, so you can twist it any which way around your head! The color and pattern is perfect for summer and something tells me that I’m going to get plenty of use out of this over the coming months!

Level Naturals Shower Bomb

Level Naturals Shower Bombs ($7.99) – So here’s the dealio: I don’t take baths. Honestly, they kind of skeeve me out (for no real reason at all). Anytime a company sends bath products they’re usually lost on me so I’m really excited to see that these are SHOWER bombs. You apparently drop one at your feet when you get in the shower to enjoy the organic menthol and eucalyptus scents. The shower bombs also contain Tea Tree essential oil that supposedly helps out tired feet. I can’t wait to use these!

Cover FX SPF 30 Protection Primer

Cover FX SPF 30 Protection Primer ($38) – So one of the biggest things that has been on my mind as we head toward summer is what type of SPF to wear on my face. This winter I switched to using Liz Earle skincare products (which I still love to death) but the moisturizer doesn’t contain SPF. I guess I should be ashamed to admit that I didn’t give it much thought this winter, but such is life. Now that the sun is threatening to shine here again in Chicago I need to pick up my SPF regimen and this primer might be the perfect product. It goes on super smooth and is water-resistant. It’s also vegan, paraben-free, fragrance-free, gluten-free, mineral oil-free, and talc-free!

Dermasuri Deep Exfoliating Mitt

Dermasuri Deep Exfoliating Mitt ($19.99) – You slip this mitt over your hand to scrub away dead skin cells. I’ll undoubtedly put this to use before short season arrives!

Kai Perfume Oil

Kai Perfume Oil ($48) – I just checked out the Kai website and all of the items on there are so clean and pretty looking! This particular perfume oil allegedly smells differently on whomever is wearing it. The product in the bottle smelled very grassy to me, but when I applied it to my wrists it took on a more floral smell that reminds me of summer. This is a keeper!

Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo

Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Invisible Spray ($25) – The first dry shampoo I ever used was from Oscar Blandi and I still have it to this day. It works well, but I REALLY have to brush my hair to get the shampoo to evaporate. Since I have dark hair, the light spray can really be a problem. This new formula, however, sprays on clear! I’ve wanted either a clear dry shampoo or one made specifically for brunettes for awhile so this is perfect!

Merrithew Mini Stability Ball and DVD

Merrithew Mini Stability Ball ($11.99) and DVD ($12.71) – You may recall that I received a mini stability ball in my March PopSugar Must Have Box and I was not amused. Thankfully, FabFitFun got it right by sending an mini stability ball AND a DVD that teaches one how to properly use it. The DVD specifically focuses on “breathing techniques and mobility of the spine, hips and shoulders,” which are things I definitely need to work on!

The Better Chip

The Better Chip: Spinach & Kale with Sea Salt – This is the only item that really doesn’t excite me in this box, but that’s primarily because crispy salty snacks aren’t really my jam. Give me something sweet any day. Still, this is the smallest product and to have only one thing I won’t use? Amazing!

The total retail value of the Spring FabFitFun VIP Box is approximately $212, which is fantastic! Perhaps even better than the retail value though is that these are all great products that I’m really looking forward to trying. Most of these aren’t products or brands that I’ve seen pop up in other subscription boxes and I felt like there was cohesion in the box. These products go together and will be fun to use this spring, you know?

FabFitFun Coupon: Want to get this box for yourself for less? Use coupon code “SPRING5” at checkout and you’ll get $5 off your order! You’ll pay just $44.99 for this awesome box of goodies. You’ll have to hurry though – this coupon is only valid through the end of the day on March 26, 2014.
