Casual Friday on the Dime: White on White

White always makes me a little nervous. Especially white on white. If I’m going to spill it will happen to be on the day I’m wearing white, go figure. However, when I saw this white eyelet short set from Pixie Market, I did had to reconsider my stance. Perhaps I could give white another chance! Plus Lisa inspired me as well with her fabulous white on white look, too!

I love that this can be worn together or separately. The top would look adorable with a pair of skinny jeans. Or the shorts would look great with a fun peasant shirt in a bright color. Or even a simple tank. Heck, I see this look as a running around town outfit or brunch with the gals. Just be prepared for lots of compliments! And don’t worry, it is fully lined. Phew! ;)

Although I kept this look fairly neutral, you could definitely add some pops of color! That’s the great thing about white, you can have so much fun with it!

I don’t know if the whole “wearing white after Memorial Day” trend still applies, but if so, now’s your chance!

Do tell: Would you wear white on white?

Casual Friday on a Dime: Devoted to Denim

I am a denim junkie. I love any and all things denim- jackets, jeans, shorts, shirts. My devotion to denim just stop there. You should see my closest! :)  It’s no surprise that I am totally smitten with this jumpsuit.

How fantastic is this?! I think it would make the perfect casual Friday outfit because it you can dress it up or down (probably not for the office though, with that stomach-grazing slit!). I added a pair of cute and casual sandals and a fun bracelet to really brighten up the look. Wear it to brunch with your girlfriends, running errands or shopping. For evening you could even throw on a pair of heels and hit the town.

I’ll let you in on a little secret: It’s 100% cotton. Perfect for the summer. You’re welcome. ;)

I love love love the faded denim color and the bib! It’s stylish, yet casual. Two of my favorite things.

What would you pair it with? I’d add a fun belt and a necklace too! I can’t wait to purchase this, can’t you tell?!

Casual Friday on a Dime: Red White and Blue Check

Can you believe that it’s mid June already?! Where did the time go?! Wow!

The 4th of July is right around the corner and if you’re like me then you love to sport red white and blue. If you don’t want to wear a full on flag print, but still want to sport the style then this red white and blue check print shirt is for you!

Casual Friday: Red White and Blue

Multi-Check Tee ($30) // Levi’s 535 Leggings ($58) // Peep Toe Flat ($27.99)

Add a bit of patriotic flare to your casual Friday wardrobe with this tee (but you might want to wear it on June 27 since July 4 is a Friday this year and most people will have the day off of work). We paired it with a pair of white skinny jeans and red peep toes above, but it would look great paired with blue denim, too!

The multi-check tee is available in sizes 2-10.

Do tell: Do you wear red white and blue year round or just save it for the holidays?

It’s 98% cotton, so it will definitely be comfortable as the weather warms up! Denim can get so hot!

Pair it with some funky tennis shoes or even some flip flops and you’re set! For work I’d add some tights and heels, or ballet flats and jewelry.

Who would have thought that a Denim Shift Dress could be super cute?!

ASOS, $53.62, available in sizes XS-L (4-10).

Casual Friday on a Dime: Tunics

We’re officially obsessed with tunics around here. Especially being pregnant, they’ve been a Godsend the past couple of months because they were oversized and I could pair them with leggings. I’m even more so about comfort now!

I’m sure you’re thinking, “jeez, how many tunics are you guys going to show us?” I know, I said I was obsessed. :) However, this one is a bit different then the others due to the cutout back. It adds a touch of fun I think! Oh, and did I mention the price? For under $50 you can’t beat that!

Tunic Blouse with Cut Out Back

This ASOS Tunic Blouse with Cut Out Back is available in both nude (shown) and black. Both colors are available in sizes 0-12! I think personally I’m partial to the nude though! I just think you can pair it with so much!

  • Made from a breathable woven fabric
  • Point collar
  • Concealed button placket through front
  • Draped back, cut-out detail
  • Oversized fit

Tunics make a great addition to any casual Friday wardrobe as they can be dressed up or down.

Casual Friday on a Dime: Color Block Cardigan

It’s no surprise that we love color blocking around here. However, sometimes I often run into trying to figure out what is too much color (if there really is such a thing!). That’s why I was completely smitten with this color block cardigan! It’s the perfect blend of colors without looking like you are trying too hard.

I love how it’s paired with a simple white shirt! I think it could be a fab casual Friday outfit with a pair of jeans or you could wear it to work with some nice pants.

If you’re feeling really colorful, then check out this yellow/pink combo! LOVE!

These cardigans say they are one size, but I think they look fairly roomy, which I’m a total fan of.

Although the $45.90 price tag isn’t outrageous, you could still save even more! You can get 16% off your first order from Oasap by using the code oasap1st.

What do you think of the color block trend? Would you wear it on casual Friday?
