It doesn’t seem like there are too many truly fabulous Facebook promotions anymore, but this one that just got posted by Lee is pretty spectacular!
If you invite 10 friends to LIKE the Riders by Lee Facebook Page you will get a FREE pair of Riders by Lee jeans!!! In order for the friends to qualify, they must “like” the page and also register for the promotion themselves. (That last part is in the fine print.)
This isn’t a promotion I expect to last very long once word gets out, so I recommend liking the page and inviting your friends ASAP.
Once you provide them with your shipping address you will be able to invite friends via email, Facebook, or Twitter! (Or, there’s a URL so you can share the promotion in some other way.)

I’m a huge fan of Skillshare and earlier this year enrolled in a blogging course that they were offering. Skillshare is a great way to learn a new skill – or enhance old ones – from the privacy of your home. Some classes are fairly involved while others don’t take much of a time commitment. Some classes are free while others are – all things considered – pretty affordable.
This morning Skillshare announced the launch of their new School of Photography, and to celebrate they’re offering quite a few of their photography classes for free!
Some of the classes that are currently free that look interesting include:
The Possibilities of Instagram: Sharing Your Best Photos
Food Photography: Capturing a Moment Worth Eating
Mobile Post Production: Editing Your Photos
Be sure to check out the Skillshare School of Photography for all of the free classes!
Just a quick reminder that it is National Coffee Day, which means a few different free coffee options, including:
- A free small coffee at McDonald’s, during breakfast hours only
- A free medium coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts
- A free 12 oz. coffee at Krispy Kreme
No coupon or purchase is needed to enjoy any of these free cups of joe! Offer only valid today, September 29, 2014.
The free coffee deals keep piling up! Krispy Kreme has announced that they’ll be participating in National Coffee Day by offering customers a free 12 oz. coffee on Monday, September 29!
There is no reason everyone shouldn’t be well caffeinated on Monday because you can also grab a free small coffee at McDonald’s (during breakfast hours only) and free medium coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts.
No purchase is necessary to take advantage of any of these offers!
Just a quick reminder that you can currently get a FREE small coffee from McDonalds! This offer is valid everyday during their morning breakfast hours until September 29!
Those who prefer Dunkin’ Donuts will want to make a note in their calendars that the double D will also be offering a free medium cup of its new hot Dark Roast Coffee at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide on September 29, aka National Coffee Day!
While no purchase is necessary to get the free coffee at either location, it may be worth calling ahead to make sure your local restaurant is participating.
Normally I don’t post *free trials* as they seem like something that one might find on TV or something, but I’m intrigued by this free trial that I came across and after spending some time researching it online felt like some of you might be interested as well.
For a limited time, Total Beauty is offering a free 14 day trial of the NuFace Mini. Normally this device costs $199, but with this offer all you’ll need to do is pay $9.99 shipping and handling.
Machines like this seem to be popping up everywhere, and honestly I didn’t know what they were for or how they worked. Apparently a NuFace is a facial toning device. With regular use it will allegedly lift and tone skin. The NuFace Mini is FDA “cleared” as an anti-aging device. The reviews posted on various store websites seem to be overwhelmingly positive, although the reviews on Amazon are more mixed (with some negative reviews noting that the device may break, it gave them headaches, or over-stimulated a thyroid).
Here’s how it works:
I watched the video above, and while I remain skeptical about the results, I think I might take advantage of this trial and then post a review. (Again, my cheap fingers are crossed that I don’t fall completely in love with this gadget!)
Terms of the free trial from Total Beauty (bolding of key points is mine):
Trial Request and Purchase Terms. Terms of payment are within Total Beauty’s sole discretion. When you request a free trial of a Product on this Site, you acknowledge and agree that: (1) you are participating in a trial period for use of the Product; (2) you will be charged immediately for the handling and shipping expenses incurred in shipping the Product to your designated shipping address; (3) your license to use and try out the Product is limited to the fourteen (14) day trial period that follows your receipt of the Product (the “Trial Period”); (4) payment for the Product is due and immediately payable following the conclusion of the Trial Period and you will be charged for the full purchase price after the conclusion of the Trial Offer; and (5) you agree to write a review of the Product on the Total Beauty site ( which you can do here ).
The Company shall have the absolute right to charge your credit card the full amount of the Product purchase price at the conclusion of the Trial Period. At any time during the Trial Period, if you are not satisfied with the Product, you may return it to Total Beauty (or its shipping agent); provided you first notify Total Beauty’s customer service of your intention to return the Product and you actually ship the product back to the Company prior to 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the last day of the Trial Period. If you elect to return a Product during the Trial Period, you must: (a) return it in the same condition in which the Product was received, ordinary wear and tear excepted; (b) use the original packaging; and (c) use the supplied prepaid return Fedex shipping label for shipment of the Product back to Total Beauty. All Product-related payments will be charged to the credit card you submit to Total Beauty.
If you do take advantage of this free trial, PLEASE pay attention to the return-by date so you don’t get stuck paying $199 for something you don’t want. Also, note that per the terms you MUST contact the company before returning the product.

Do Tell: Have any of you tried a NuFace device? If so, what did you think?
Creative Market is one of my favorite websites to check each week, because they’re always offering new freebies. I’m not sure that Creative Market is of interest to everyone though, which is why I haven’t really talked about it before. I primarily use the site to shop for new fonts and blog layouts (for this blog I use the Beverly Theme from BluChic that I got from Creative Market), but they also offer things like graphics, images, business card templates and more. Pretty much everything they offer could be valuable to any fellow bloggers out there, but the items they offer can be used by anyone with an interest in computer generated design. For instance, those who enjoy designing their own greeting cards or note cards, or those who enjoy scrapbooking.
I do spend money at Creative Market (occasionally too much as my font obsession is still going strong), but their collection of freebies is also pretty awesome. I’m going to remember to try to start posting them each week for any of you that may be in the market for some creative inspiration. Absolutely no purchase is necessary to get the freebies, though you will need to register for a (free) Creative Market account.
Note: Please make sure that you pay attention to any download requirements. For instance, some of the graphic downloads may not work unless you have Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, so just be cognizant of any weird requirements like that.
This week Creative Market is offering the following freebies:
12 Hi-Res Autumn Photos (seen above)
Finding free photos to use in blog posts and whatnot can be a pain, but with this free pack you’ll get the rights to use the images to make graphics or just post the pretty images!
This set comes with hand-drawn buildings in various colors and styles and in various formats.
Watercolor Autumn Leaves
Hand painted watercolor leaves could be perfect for any fall projects you are working on this season! (Invitations, cards, and fall blog designs quickly come to mind.)
