How to Style a Maxi Dress for Fall

If you were to look in my closet you’d see about 15 maxi dresses. I’m not kidding. I’m obsessed with them. They are my staple for the summer, but I especially love learning how to style a maxi dress for fall. I actually based this upon the Piperlime Hi Lo maxi that is currently hanging in my closest begging me to wear it year round!

To make it more fall appropriate I’d add a warm cardigan, a pair of boots and a pair of tights, of course! On a side note, doesn’t this cardigan look so cozy?! It makes me want a cup of hot chocolate and to cuddle up in front of the fireplace.

And of course you could add color galore- think colorful tights, or shoes! Or a funky necklace! I love fall.

And you could save money buy shopping your closest. That’s one of my favorite things to do! I often forget what I have, so it’s like a treat each time I swap over my clothes!

And, since the print of the dress does the talking all you need is minimal jewelry! You’ll look fab, but comfortable at the same time. That’s a win win in my book! I also love that it’s flowy, and not too tight, so you can dance the night away!
