Product Review and 10% Off: Cherry Footwear

I’m a firm believer that a girl can never have too many shoes. As I’ve been delving into cleaning out my closet, I noticed I own quite a few pairs of heels. Now that I have twins, my days of wearing pumps are few and far between. Now when choosing shoes I look for something I can chase them around in. Priorities, right?! 😉 Couple that with comfort and it’s the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

Browsing the Cherry Footwear website I noticed a wonderful variety of shoes. They have everything from flats and sandals, to platforms and heels! Swoon. And at fabulous prices! Seriously, I think the most expensive things was probably $50, if that!

I decided on the Peter 12 Lace Up Wedges for a few reasons. One, they are super cute. I thought they’d go great with jeans and two, the wedges will be easy enough to run after the kids, while still looking like I put some thought into my style. Oh, and I did I mention they are only $22?! What a steal!

Cherry FootwearLet me tell you, these are better than I expected. They are super lightweight and really comfortable. I started to re-think my purchase initially because I realized it was spring/summer and I wouldn’t want to wear such a heavy shoe, but once they arrived all my fears subsided. Like I said, they are super light. It almost feels like I’m not even wearing shoes! LOVE!

Shipping was super quick as well. Seriously. I think I ordered them on a Monday and by Wednesday I had them. So easy!

I paired them with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and I thought they looked great!

cherry footwearPlease excuse my messy room….Sheesh! I need to stage these photos better. And my hair. Good grief! But I digress….shoes!

The most important thing? They are comfortable. I’ve had shoes before that were super stiff and hard to put on. These are not like that at all. As I said, it almost felt like I wasn’t even wearing shoes. That gets an A in my book.

Trend Spotting: 18 Lovely Pairs of Pointed Toe Flats for Spring

I’m not sure they ever fully went out of style, but pointed toe flats seem to be coming back with a vengeance this spring! Pointed toe flats are my absolute favorite style of footwear. I have wide feet, so the elongated footbed goes a long way toward making my foot look somewhat graceful! However, this is a style of footwear that looks great on anyone and can be paired with anything. Pointed toe flats will look just as good paired with a pair of shorts as they will with your favorite jeans as they will with your favorite skirt.

If you’re in the market for a new pair of shoes to get you through the spring and summer, here are 18 of my favorite pairs of pointed toe flats:

Love at First Sight: Kate Spade New York LOVE Shoes

Wedding WednesdayHow fabulous are these Kate Spade New York Love shoes?! When it comes to choosing the perfect shoes for your big day, your search is pretty much over. Nothing screams LOVE more (literally!) then these! I think they would make a great surprise under your dress. The pictures! Swoon.

The only downside? Looks like they only come in pink. I for one am head over heels in love with the color, but it may not be everyone’s fancy, nor your wedding colors or the color you wish for you shoes. If you must have these, then also be aware they are currently available in sizes 5.5, 6, 6.5 and 9.5. If those are your sizes, grab them while you can!

You could also re-purpose them and wear them again on Valentine’s Day and your anniversary. I splurged on my wedding shoes and have justified the cost by wearing them on countless occasions. Almost anytime I need to get dressed up I make sure I can wear them. I’m absolutely smitten. Do I need them? No. Do I want them? You bet. It was love at first sight.

Kate Spade New York, $350.
