Yumvelope Review

Last month the kind folks from foodie subscription box service Yumvelope sent me one of their packages to review. A subscription to Yumvelope costs $19 per month and includes a selection of all-natural food products.

I received a fun package of food to try and let me tell you – everything was super tasty! The all-natural gummy bears were consumed within minutes of when I finished filming.

The one concern I brought up in the video is whether I felt that I received $19 worth of products in my envelope. Honestly, the only way I think subscription boxes work is if you feel you’re getting more than your money’s worth. I don’t want to feel like I spent $19 to get $19 … I want to spend $19 and feel like I’m getting $35 worth of product, if that makes sense. I feel like I probably received $19 worth of products but there wasn’t really an added value beyond that. (Granted, this envelope was complimentary, so I can’t complain regardless.)

Regardless, I really enjoyed the products I was sent and I’m on the lookout for the Cran Lemon Zest bar at a store near me because that was the most flavor-packed little bar I’ve ever tasted! Delish!

  1. Thanks for the review! I really love your review vlogs! Currently I’m only a birchbox subscriber but am now considering a few others. By the way, where are your glasses from? They are awesome!

    1. Thanks Chelsea! My uber hipster glasses are from and they were FREE! Coastal holds frequent promos where you can get your first pair of glasses for them for free … as they’re doing right now. Check them out. You’ll just pay shipping, which is about $14, I believe.
