Bestowed Box - October 2013

If you love receiving healthy treats in the mail, I think you may need to check out Bestowed Box! The October Bestowed Box was filled with so many tasty treats that I can’t believe I haven’t yet dug into. (It helps that I’m writing this from Denver and the treats are in Chicago!)

It is non-GMO (genetically modified organisms) month, and as such the Bestowed Box contained all products that are 100% GMO-free. I’ll admit this is something I don’t usually look out for… but seeing how awesome these products are, maybe I need to start?

Here’s what I received in my October Bestowed Box:

Unreal Peanut Butter Cups: The Double Ones

UNREAL Peanut Butter Cups: The Double Ones – Above, when I said I was surprised that I hadn’t yet dug into my Bestowed Box I mainly meant that I was surprised I hadn’t gobbled down these peanut butter cups as soon as the box arrived. Peanut butter cups are my weakness! These UNREAL Peanut Butter Cups are made without hydrogenated oils, corn syrup, GMOS, or artificial colors or flavors.

I return home Sunday night. These will likely get eaten immediately.

FiberLove Cinnamon Raisin Bar

FiberLove Cinnamon Raisin Bar – I’m a bit of a “bar” junkie and I eat one almost every day for breakfast along with my daily NutriBullet smoothie. I haven’t trued the FiberLove bar before, but I’m impressed that it contains a whopping 48% of your daily fiber needs!

Enjoy Life Seed and Fruit Mix

Enjoy Life Seed & Fruit Mix – This “beach bash” trail mix looks tasty! I also love that it’s made without nuts.

The Good Bean Chickpea Snacks

The Good Bean Smoky Chili & Lime Chickpea Snacks – I will be tentatively trying these out to see how spicy they are. I generally don’t do “chili” flavored products, but I do love roasted chickpeas!

Manitoba Harvest Hemp Pro 70

Manitoba Harvest Hemp Pro 70 – This is a plant based protein supplement that is allegedly perfect for mixing in with smoothies. I’ll definitely be adding this to my next NutriBullet creation!

Nature's Path Love Crunch - Dark Chocolate Macaroon Granola

Nature’s Path Love Crunch Dark Chocolate Macaroon Granola – You know Cookie Monster? I’m like a Granola Monster, which is why I never allow myself to buy the stuff. I can down a whole bag in one sitting. That said, I can’t wait to dig into this granola. It just happens to be one of my favorite brands and flavors! (And if you can’t tell – this bag is huge! It’s what you’d find in the cereal section at the grocery store.)

Ultima Replenisher

Ultima Replenisher – I’m not familiar with this product, but according to the book Bestowed sent with the box, this product is an ideal pre- or during-working drink because if replenishes electrolytes.

Way Better Snacks Simply Beyond Black Bean Tortilla Chips

Way Better Snacks Simply Beyond Black Bean Tortilla Chips – I discovered black bean chips a couple of years ago and I’ve been a huge fan ever since. I normally don’t like chips, but something about black bean chips just work for me. I can’t wait to dig into these. I just need to find some salsa!

Women's Health Magazine

Women’s Health Magazine Subscription OR $10 Cash – Oooh, remember Birchbox sent this card a few months ago? You can choose to get a free one year subscription to Women’s Health Magazine OR you can return the card along with proof that you purchased the Bestowed Box and you’ll get $10!

Bestowed Box costs $19 per month and this month I DEFINITELY received way more products that I could purchase for $19! And then, keep in mind that I will also be getting $10 back… fab deal! Every month I feel like Bestowed Box delivers a top-notch box that’s full of unique, yet healthy, food products. I’m a fan!

Bestowed Box is a healthy foods subscription box. All items included in the box are personally picked by founder Heather Bauer, who is a certified nutritionist. A subscription costs $19 per month.

Bestowed Box Coupon: Want to try out Bestowed Box but see it for yourself before you commit to paying $19? You can get your first box for just $10 when you enter code “HELLOTEN103” at checkout! This coupon is valid through November 20, 2013. If you place your order by October 30 you will receive the box I just reviewed, but after that you will get the November box!
