In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we will spend the month of October last year highlighting some of the stores that are running special promotions to raise funds for breast cancer and other cancer-specific charities. With the purchase of any of the items we highlight over the course of this month a portion of the proceeds will be donated to various breast cancer charities.
Throughout the month of October, Origins will donate $3.50 from every purchase of their Limited Edition Drink Up Hydrating Lip Balm in Berry Splash ($17) to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
This lip balm moisturizes thanks to apricot kernal and avocado oil, and it also provides a burst of subtle color.
This promotion is part of the Estée Lauder Companies’ extended Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.
The 2014 BCA Campaign is proud to be moving in a bold new direction as they expand the theme, “Let’s Defeat Breast Cancer. We’re Stronger Together.” In true “Stronger Together” spirit, many of the highly sought-after, iconic brands of The Estée Lauder Companies are offering Pink Ribbon products or making donations, united in support of The BCA Campaign’s mission to defeat breast cancer through education and medical research. In fact, in honor of The BCA Campaign’s 22nd anniversary this year, The Estée Lauder Companies will donate $1 toward education and medical research, up to a maximum donation of $22,000, to BCRF for every uplifting message or photo shared on Instagram or Twitter that includes #BCAstrength.
