When I think of Fossil handbags, I think of timeless styles that only get better with age. Throughout my adult life – as a commuter and now as a mom – I’ve gravitated toward large bags that allow me to carry my life with me at all times. Since I’m unwilling to skimp on roominess or style, I love Fossil tote bags. They’re classic. They’re beautiful. You can easily take them from the boardroom to brunch.
While I can’t deny that it has been quite awhile since I commuted to and from an office, I remember quite well the struggles involved in finding the perfect tote bag. Ideally, the bag needs to be roomy enough to carry your entire life in it – laptop, phone, tablet, maybe a change of shoes, personal items, and 200 tubes of chapstick, at least. It needs to have a large strap so that the bag stays up on your shoulder. Finally, it needs to be stylish!
I was browsing the Fossil Tote Bags earlier today and it took me right back to those days of longing for the perfect tote bag for commuting. While I may not technically commute, I still find myself using tote bags because they’re large enough to carry everything I need personally, plus everything I need for my two kiddos. I’ve previously talked about my disdain for diaper bags and gave some ideas for diaper bag alternatives.
If you’re in need of a new commuter bag or a roomy new bag to carry all your stuff around in, I recommend checking out the Fossil tote bags. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by their selection, which includes leather staples and fun cloth prints! Below are a couple of my favorites.
Fossil Tote Bags
In my opinion, there’s nothing chicer than a timeless brown leather purse. This shade of brown goes with everything, and this Fossil leather tote bag will easily transition from your commute to the boardroom to brunch with your besties. Plus, this bag comes with a separate leather pouch, so you’re really getting two bags in one! The Rachel Tote also comes in black and pink.
Note: This tote is all open on the inside. If you’re looking for a brown Fossil purse with lots of individual pockets and spaces to hold your goods, check out the Rachel Work Tote.
I once wrote about how much I wanted a red leather handbag. I don’t remember when I wrote that post, but I still don’t have one. I’m thinking about pulling the trigger now because this red Fossil purse is calling my name! (Technically the color is “henna.”) This is another classic leather tote bag that will hold up well. It will likely look even more gorgeous as the leather ages. The Sloan Tote also comes in black and “faded indigo.”
If you’re as obsessed with Fossil tote bags as I am, but you’re not interested in paying for leather, they’ve also got a nice selection of canvas bags. While I love the look of leather, Fossil canvas bags are awesome because they’re washable, which might be necessary if your commute involves public transportation or you’re schlepping around lots of snacks for the kiddos. This chic polka dotted Bailey Tote is large enough to carry a 13″ laptop and has a pocket large enough to hold an iPhone 7 plus, which means it’s basically my perfect bag because those are my main life necessities.
While the GirlsCount Tote from Fossil is probably too casual for commuters, I couldn’t help but include it because 100 percent of the proceeds from the purchase of this bag will be donated to One Girl, which is an organization that advocates on behalf of education for girls around the globe. Plus, it would make a pretty awesome beach tote this summer, don’t you think?
When it comes to bags, I definitely gravitate for classic looks that I’ll be able to use year after year. My opinion is if you’re going to spend a little bit more to invest in a quality bag, then you should spend the money on a bag that won’t go out of style in a few weeks. That’s exactly why I love Fossil tote bags. Yes, they have a couple of bags with fun prints, but by and large, they sell classic bags that are perfect for women with all different types of needs and lifestyles.
While I’m willing to pay for quality, don’t forget to check out the Fossil handbags clearance, where you’ll find a few totes for less!
