Spring Break Bound: 5 Long Weekend Trip Ideas Under $500

Try as I might, I’m not sure we will ever be spring break vacationers. My husband can really only go on one “vacation” per year, so if we took a spring break excursion we likely wouldn’t do anything else throughout the year. I can, however, usually get him to commit to a long weekend getaway or two throughout the year and I’m currently trying to convince him that we should go on a mini spring break trip.

I get a lot of travel deals sent my way and I just received this list of weekend getaway ideas from Hilton. Each trip, including hotel and airfare, can cost less than $500 (depending on your starting location and destination). Of course, now I’m itching to book a trip pretty much anywhere.

Tip: If you are a Hilton HHonors member you can take advantage of Hilton’s Stop Clicking Around policy. You’ll be guaranteed to receive the lowest possible rate — an additional savings of 3-10%. You’ll also get free wi-fi during your stay!
