I’m not a big drinker, by any stretch of the imagination. Even when I’m not pregnant I maybe order a cocktail once every six months or so and enjoy maybe one glass of wine a month. Alcohol makes me incredibly sleepy, and there’s never a time I really need any help being sleepier than I already am so I usually abstain.

But there’s something about being pregnant that would always make me long for a cocktail. I think it’s just that I don’t like being denied anything, so throughout both of my pregnancies I spent a lot of time wishing I could unwind with a fruity cocktail. Since that wasn’t an option, I would drink Shirley Temples instead. Have you guys had a Shirley Temple recently? They are SO good. If I’m being honest, I drink them even when I’m not pregnant.

But I digress…

Last year when I was pregnant, I talked to a friend about wanting a cocktail so we partnered up to create a fun Valentine’s Day MOCKtail, which is perfect for any fellow preggos out there and/or people who don’t drink. The only caveat is that regardless of which camp you fall into you must also have a huge sweet tooth. Even when I have a traditional cocktail I prefer that they taste as much like Kool-Aid as possible (and yes, I have even asked bartenders for their most Kool-Aid-like concoction), and this Valentine’s Day mocktail fits the bill perfectly.

Introducing the perfect drink for Valentine’s Day, the Strawberry Cotton Candy Mocktail.

Does it look incredible, or what?!

As tasty as it is, it also couldn’t be easier to make.
