  1. My siblings and I would come home from Late Christmas eve mass and make a fresh warm batch of chocolate chip cookies for Santa. Now that we are married we still do this with our own families.

  2. Waking up early Christmas morning and yelling that “Santa came!” I am 29 years old and I still do this. My poor husband 🙂

  3. I love that we always stay at my parents’ house Christmas Eve so we can wake up there Christmas morning. I know this won’t last forever, so I’m soaking it up while I can 🙂

  4. My favorite tradition is a relatively new one…I love having our older kids help play Santa for our younger kids. Staying up late with them on Christmas Eve is a really special time for us!

  5. Making gingerbread men with my niece…using the cookie cutters that look like they have bites taken out of them!

  6. My husband and I have been married a little less than 2 years so we’re still trying to establish our own traditions. I think putting small gifts in our Christmas stockings is my favorite new tradition.

  7. We bought a small artificial tree the year of my daughters first christmas. We added any ornaments that she got as gifts and a photo ornament I created. I continue to get one of these every year, and starting this year (her 3rd Christmas) she picked out an ornament at the store for her tree.

  8. Since having my daughter, we’ve started the tradition of new pajamas on Christmas Eve. It’s fun to have a present to open early and get to use right away.

  9. With my 3 daughters, one of our new traditions is Elf on the shelf–they named our elf Maddy and it’s amazing how excited they are each morning to see where Maddy hides…and it’s fun for me to see how creative I can get in finding new places for Maddy to hide!

  10. My favorite Christmas tradition is our annual cookie day bake-a-palooza where we turn out at least 4 dozen sugar cookie Jackson pollock crazy boy decorated sprinkling.
