I've been working from home now for the past 7 years so I feel qualified in saying I know a thing or two about comfy bras. Over the past couple of years, bralettes have become my jam. I like having a little support during the day and bralettes typically provide just the right amount of comfort.
Now that so much of the world is sheltering-in-place and/or working from home, it seemed like the perfect time to share some of the best bralettes. Who knows how long we're going to be on lock down, so while our hair is getting shaggy and gray, our boobs might as well be comfy, too. Although I've gotta warn you – some bralettes are downright sexy these days. I'm sure you'll find something you love!
Never Say Never
Long before bralettes became as popular as they are now, Cosabella was leading the charge. I remember wanting the Never Say Never Sweetie Bralette back about the time I started blogging! Beautiful and comfortable… it doesn't get much better!
Fun Fact: Cosabella is still a family-run business based out of Miami! The owner is actually Italian and after immigrating to the U.S., wanted to find a way to bring Italian lingerie to Americans.
Savage X Bralette
Gals, Rihanna knows what she's doing! The Savage X Bralette never seems to be in stock and for good reason – it's the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. (Bra, bralette, whatever. I want to build up a collection so I can wear this every day of the week.
I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the large elastic band, but it just all works. If you're going to get just one bralette, make it this one.
True Body V Neck Bra
Honestly, I didn't love this bra at first. It was so thin, but it was also so tight. I wore it rarely.
A funny thing happened, though. The more I wore the True Body V Neck Bra, the more comfortable it got. It now fits like a glove, feels like butter, and I could live in it forever.
This is an especially good bralette if you're looking for something to absolutely disappear under your clothes – no lines. While it's great at holding everything in place, it's not the best shaper.
Modern Microfiber Seamfree
I love Jockey products, and the Modern Microfiber Seamfree Bralette is no exception.
Style-wise, this bralette looks the most like a sports bra. It's a great option for lounging but also for something like a yoga workout because it holds everything in place.
In the wash, this bralette has pilled more than others on this list, but it's still going strong.
Easy Does It Bra
Technically, I suppose Warner's Easy Does It Bra isn't a bralette. However, it's so comfortable that I feel I must add it to my list of the best bralettes.
It does have a snap enclosure in the back, and as long as you don't mind that, this bra is as comfortable as can be! I find a lot of bralettes can be minimizing, but that's not the case with this bra.
Some bralettes are better just worn at home, but this is one you can definitely wear here, there, and everywhere.
Supported yet comfy
Ladies, if you have the privilege of sheltering at home during these difficult times, and are looking for a way to treat yourself, use some of the money from your government stimulus check to treat yourself to a new bralette. It might give you the “lift” you need to get through the next few weeks.
