Tis the season for holiday parties! Â I don't know about you, but I think it's so much fun dressing up for holiday parties. Â My normal holiday party attire consists of fun dresses in subtle holiday colors with – what else? – sparkly accessories! Â The right holiday party dress is key – and I have fallen in love with the Shabby Apple Guinea a Minute dress ($83). Â Shabby Apple specializes in vintage-styled apparel, and their dresses seem almost universally flattering.
The Guinea a Minute dress is the perfect holiday dress – subtle green and black stripes on the bodice, a flattering high waist, and a black knit skirt adorned with decorative buttons. Â I paired mine with a sparkly belt from my closet and some fun suede and patent leather bow heels I purchased around 7 years ago, and bam! Â Add some red lipstick and you're instantly party-ready!
The dress itself is incredibly comfortable. Â The material is a soft knit that easily moves with you – a huge plus, as it's always frustrating to find a gorgeous holiday dress that ends up being stiff and uncomfortable. Â I really feel like this dress hugs my curves in all of the right places, and I will feel very confident wearing it to holiday parties this season!
In addition to the Guinea a Minute Dress, Shabby Apple has a great selection of dresses that would be perfect for holiday and New Year's parties, including:
Winter White, anyone? This Pretty Woman Dress ($88) is stunning and perfect for holiday cocktail parties!
