I'll be the first person to admit I'm not a huge fan of the Kardashian/Jenner crew, in the same way I'm not a fan of anyone or anything that's overexposed. They could be mentioned 50 percent less and I'd still think I was seeing too much of them. I know the issue is that everything they do sells – and it sells big – but there hasn't been a time they've sold anything that's been of interest to me.
That all changed this morning though when I learned that Khloé Kardashian has launched a new line of designer denim, Good American Denim, that's available in sizes 0-24 at Nordstrom. I've been pretty vocal about my support for size equality, so the fact that Khloé, and her business partner Emma Grede, wanted to be more size inclusive when launching this line gets nothing but praise from me.
Good Legs Destroyed Skinny Jeans – $189 // Good Cuts High Rise Boyfriend Jeans – $189
The Khloé Kardashian jeans are supposed to compete with designer lines, which is why the price tag is pretty high.
According to Elle, the reason these jeans fit women across a range of sizes is because the jeans were formulated with a special type of “stretchy fabric.” It looks like most of the styles have this formulation:Â 93% cotton, 5% polyester, 2% elastane.
There are currently 16 different styles of jeans available and ALL of them are available in sizes 0-24! My apologies if skinny jeans aren't your thing though, since nearly all of the styles are skinny jeans right now. I hope they add a couple of different styles soon because I'm personally a boot cut girl!
I'm really excited about this denim line from Khloé Kardashian, and while I know it's going to be way too expensive for many people, my hope is that other brands start following suit and realize that it's totally possible to create clothing in a larger range of sizes to accommodate more women.
