Oh wait. It's me that disappeared and I owe you all an explanation, though it might be obvious by the subject of this post: My husband and I are expecting our second child in March!
The reason for my prolonged absence? For weeks on end I just could not sleep enough. Typically, I get 4-6 hours of sleep per night and that's more than enough. For a few weeks, I needed to sleep nearly 18 hours per day. It was insane. Once I made it over that hump, the constant headaches began. Last week the headaches were so bad that I didn't open my computer once and the only relief I had was when I was sleeping. Luckily – finally – I think it's in the past as today is my third day headache free and I'm getting back to my normal sleeping habits. Happy Dance!
I am breaking my own rules about not putting my son on the internet, but here's the photo we used to announce the news to his grandparents. I know, I know.
