So I actually made a HUGE mistake the day before my wedding. We got married in western Michigan, which, all things considered, is usually pretty temperate. They were going through a devastating heat wave at the time and the day before our wedding it was 96 degrees with 100% humidity. 😬Â It was ghastly.
And, of course, we were on our feet all day either running around and doing wedding stuff,  joining our wedding party for putt-putt and ice cream, or attending our rehearsal dinner. Oh, and then we ended the night with a party for all of our friends in our hotel suite. I was standing nearly all day and the combination of the excessive heat + standing meant that on my wedding day my feet were pretty swollen.
I ended up wearing sandals most of the day, though if these fun Customizable Keds had been available at the time I would have considered going this route! You can do some pretty extensive customizations, but I actually like this white look with a blue monogram. It could even be a something blue!
I know sneakers probably aren't everyone's dream wedding shoe but the nice thing about these is that you'll be able to get plenty of wear out of them after your wedding day! At $60 per pair they are definitely a budget-friendly option, too!
