Celebrate girls, women, and equality for all with this selection of more than 65 of the best feminist gift ideas, which are perfect for your woke besties and family members (or those you want to enlighten)!
I make no pretenses about the fact that I am not a perfect parent, but one of the most important things I hope to convey to my son and my daughter is that they are equal to one another and to everyone else. Both of them can do whatever it is they wish to do in this world and I will do whatever is within my power to help them accomplish their goals.
Of course, this is easier said than done.
Chances are, my son will have an easier time achieving his dreams than my daughter, for various reasons. My daughter, like most girls and women, may have to fight harder for the exact same rights and opportunities. Thus, it’s my responsibility as a parent to make sure both of my children are feminists. My son will, I hope, recognize his privilege where it exists and strive to empower the women in his life. My daughter will, I hope, recognize that her sex and/or gender shouldn’t be seen as a weakness. She, too, will have it easier than many, and I hope she will also fight for those less empowered than her.
Feminism is often treated like it’s a dirty word, but ultimately, I think (hope?) most of us are feminists. All humans, male and female, of all colors, sizes, ethnicities, religions and anything else should be considered and treated as equals. I know that’s naive and far from how the world actually works, but all I can really account for is my house and our beliefs. Here, we are feminists and there’s no question that women are equal to men in all ways.
You’ve come to the right place if you’re looking for unique feminist gift ideas for the women and men, children, and babies, on your shopping list. Below you’ll find more than 65 of my absolute favorite feminist gift ideas, many of which I’ve purchased for my loved ones this past year!
Fabulous Feminist Gift Ideas
To be honest with you, these blocks are what inspired this list of feminist gift ideas. I saw these blocks and purchased them for my daughter without thinking twice. This awesome set of feminist blocks features 32 women who “made advancement possible for women of the future.”
Purchase: Rose & Rex
Want the raddest deck of cards on the block? Check out The Woman Cards, which feature some of the baddest women in history, from Sacajawea to Rosa Parks to Dr. Sally Ride to Beyoncé, who, of course, gets a Queen card. In addition to the cards, you can also order individual prints of any of these feminist icons.
Purchase: The Woman Cards
Heck yeah, this girl is going to move all of the mountains.
Purchase: Hop Clothing Co. (Etsy)
Your favorite feminist will be inspired by 365 remarkable ways women changed the world with this awesome desk calendar.
Every feminist icon poster available at The Film Artist would make an amazing feminist gift idea. I’ve considered purchasing an assortment and hanging them on my daughter’s wall because in addition to featuring badass women, the posters are unique, beautiful, and, frankly, they’re just cool.
I want the entire collection.
Purchase: The Film Artist (Etsy)
Literally the day my daughter was born, I ordered this onesie for her from my hospital bed. I had to have it and it remains one of my favorites.
Purchase: One Strange Bird Design (Etsy)
This tee is perfect for the (quality) men who want to express their support of equality for women.
That’s right. Girls. This poster is so awesome that it even has its own music video that names every woman included in the poster, as well as her accomplishments.
Knowing what to buy new parents can be difficult. They might get a lot of things they need from their baby registry, so here are a few ideas for thoughtful gifts for new parents that they may not have considered, but that will definitely be appreciated!
Thoughtful Gifts for New Parents
All of the new parents I know wish for things like a clean house and a cooked meal, but if you’re looking for gifts for new parents that can be wrapped and/or shipped, here are a few suggestions that will be appreciated.
When nothing else will get baby to quiet down, the Baby Shusher – The Soothing Sleep Miracle for Babies will! My friend recommended this product to me years ago and we got one when my daughter was born. Sometimes, when my daughter would go on one of her legendary screaming fits, the white noise emitted by this little machine is the only thing that would earn us a few minutes (seconds?) of quiet.
New parents probably aren’t looking for something else to do, but My Life Story So Far provides parents with a way to share their story to pass down to their kids one day. Those early days are hectic and hard to remember, so this will help them keep track of some of the things they don’t want to forget!
My best friend came to visit shortly after my daughter was born and she brought with her a custom family portrait she had commissioned from Reenie Sue. (Full disclosure: I went to high school with Reenie Sue’s owner, Maureen.) This portrait is one of my favorite things ever as it showcases such a special time in our lives since we’d moved into our new house and had a baby all within the same week. I absolutely love that this picture captures that in such a personalized way and I’m certain that a piece like this would be a treasured gift for any new parents.
Don’t worry if you’ve missed the boat on shopping. We’ve got you covered with these 15 last minute gift ideas, and yes, they’re actually things people will want!
We’ve just about made it to Christmas and I’ve gotta tell you: I’m pooped! This has been one of the craziest holiday shopping seasons in recent history! There have been sales upon sales upon sales. And then, when I thought there couldn’t be any more sales or coupons, well, there were more.
This is the home stretch though and if you’ve got shopping left to do at this point then you are most likely planning on heading out to the stores to do it in-person. Or, perhaps you’re going to buy online and pick up in-store, which is another great option! If you’re still committed to shopping online, however, here are 15 last minute gift ideas that can still be purchased and sent to your recipients without them ever having a clue that the gift *might* be a last minute purchase!
15 Last Minute Gift Ideas
Sending Kindle Books as a gift – you can even pre-schedule delivery so that they “arrive” on Christmas morning – couldn’t be easier or more thoughtful (assuming your recipient is a book lover). If you’re unsure what book to send, consider sending the recipient YOUR favorite book.
Another great option for your favorite book lover? A subscription to Kindle Unlimited, which costs $9.99 per month and includes access to more than 700,000 Kindle books!
Vouchers from Deal Sites
Sites like Rue La La, Gilt City, Groupon, and Living Social offer discount vouchers that can be redeemed at various stores. For instance, one of my absolute favorites that pops up on Gilt City from time to time is $25 for $50 at Vosges Haut-Chocolat. $50 worth of chocolate? Yes, please!
If time is short, check out these sites to see if they have any giftable vouchers available. I promise you that the recipient will love being able to go on a mini shopping spree!
Was there any doubt that subscription boxes would make this list?! There are so many box options available that you’re sure to find something for someone on your list and the best part is that nearly every box is available as a one-time thing, or in 3, 6, or 12 month subscriptions.
Some of my recommendations include:
- PopSugar Must Have Box -for any woman
- Hammock Pack -for any woman needing a vacation
- MunchPak – for anyone wanting to try treats from around the world (check out my MunchPak review)
- Bark Box – for those with dog children
Personal Styling Services
For your favorite fashionista (or fashionisto… what’s the word for men?!) there are personal styling sites like Stitch Fix (check out our Stitch Fix review) or Le Tote (check out our Le Tote review) for women and Trunk Club, which now offers options for women and for men. A box from any of these sites will contain a selection of clothing items tailored to the recipient’s taste.
If you’re looking for inspiration for stocking stuffers for men, you’ve come to the right place! Below you’ll find way more than 100 different ideas, all of which cost less than $10!
No holiday gift guide would be complete without a list of stocking stuffers, so this year we went all out and came up with this list of 100+ Stocking Stuffers for Men!
Each year I have the hardest time coming up with ideas for stocking ideas, so I used to toss in a couple of magazines and some candy and call it a day. Instead of following that same path I decided to sit down and come up with a list of interesting, useful, fun, and/or kitschy gifts. And, even better, each of the items below costs less than $10!
Personally, I always try to make the small gifts as useful as possible. A gag gift or two is fine, but money spent on stockings can add up quickly. A stocking doesn’t have to be expensive, just be sure to think – is this something that will actually get some use and/or be appreciated or is it something that will go to waste? If you wouldn’t buy someone a full-size gift you think they wouldn’t use, no sense stuffing their stocking with things they won’t use either. Many of the items below can be found at your local store, but links are provided below for hard-to-find items or for those of you who prefer to do your shopping online.
This year, check out our list below and avoid stuffing those stockings with coal! (Well, unless you’re talking about coal-shaped chocolate!)
Stocking Stuffers for Men
As much as I love putting together stockings, there’s no reason to spend an arm and a leg on them! Check out our list of stocking stuffers for women under $10 and get her a few things she’ll want and need and do it without breaking the bank!
While I love finding one “large” present for my family members and friends, I’d really rather just fill stockings for everyone I love. Filling stocking stuffers for women and stocking stuffers for men are where it’s at! I enjoy finding small and hopefully useful items that they’ll be able to use time and again. One of my favorite things to do is put together a themed stocking. For example, maybe the stocking stuffers will consist of a few favorite beauty items, or maybe some stationery and writing utensils and some stamps.
This year, instead of just suggesting a few stocking stuffers for women, I went ahead and rounded up more than 100 Stocking Stuffers for Women! As an added bonus, every single item below costs $10 or less. Most items can be purchased online or in-stores. Links are provided to where the items can be found online.
Happy Stocking Stuffing!

Avocado Huggers (set of 2)
I’ve been sitting here for 10 minutes, munching on Microchip Cookies from JK Chocolate and thinking about what to post about them. Literally the only thing I can think of is, “GO BUY THESE COOKIES. They are so delicious.” And then I devour another cookie or two or three.
Before actually trying these miniature cookies I knew I liked the idea of them. What I didn’t know, however, was how much delicious flavor each teensy tiny little cookie would pack… or that I would love them so much that I’d be reordering more within a week!
